The Perfect Authority

The day that I realized that my parents were not perfect, is the day when I had some serious praying to do.

Growing up, my parents knew everything. Sure I didn’t always listen and therefore learned many lessons the hard way. But whatever my parents said, I believe to be true.

Then, I realized that my parents didn’t know everything and were not perfect.

That is when I started to check everything, to see if it was true. This is part of life. It’s growing up.

But when you come to this point in your life, you have an important choice to make.

You now have the hard choice to battle every day,

To become rebellious and stubborn

To continue to grow and learn, with proper discernment.

Yes, you must prove what is true and right for yourself. But what about your parents and those in authority?

Yahweh gave them to us for a reason. Though you’ve discovered that you can now determine good and evil for yourself, parents are still important.

NO ONE is perfect. So no matter who you are conversing with, learning from, or whoever is in authority over you, it is important to have love and respect towards them all.

~Continue to listen and learn

~Check what they say by the Bible constantly and at the proper time

~Speak with love and respect always

~Let your attitude never fail to be obedient and humble

~Pray. Pray. Pray

“Obey then that have rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” ~Hebrews 13:17

Our parents, grandparents, elder relations, teachers, government officials, and others in authority, are NOT perfect. Yet Yahweh has commanded us to respect, obey, and learn from them.

Authority is not about knowing everything and being perfect, it’s about the position held.

With that position comes great responsibility. But it is not our job to determine if they should have that position, it is for us to obey Yahweh and trust that He put them in that position for a reason.

Our most perfect Authority is Yahweh and Yahushua, and by respecting ALL our authority, we are obeying Him who IS perfect.

In Times like These

I never would have imagined that I would be living through a time like this.

When the whole world is shut down and in fear. When everyone is home. When going shopping is an adventure. When masks are the new dress code, and our way of life is altered forever.

Through the past few weeks, I have experienced the faith-testing and joy-filled times of our present crisis.

I have been both faith tested and blessed. When there is room for doubt and worry, His still small voice says,

Be patient, trust Me“. And just when I needed a certain something most, He provided it. Just a little, just what I need. Not too much. Just a blessing, truly.

So, wherever you are, no matter your circumstance, seek Him and trust Him.

It is easy to be frightened and worried about the future. But when we remember who has it under control, we can live in peace and bring joy to others.

Yes, our world is changing. But this is a time to step up and grow into who we are meant to be.

We have been blessed with time to read and study Yahweh’s Word, the Bible. We have been given many moments to spend with our families. We now have the time to help a neighbor out. (with social distancing of course) We have been abundantly blessed with the chance to seek Yahweh more clearly. To pray and talk with Him daily. To grow and truly get to know Him and His plan for you.

Truly, now is the time to live, live for Yahweh. It isn’t the end of the world yet!!!

Use this blessing of time with meaning. Seek your Creator and the amazing purpose He has for you.

Fear not death, for there are greater things. Seek them out and find them.

For in trials, we are strengthened and grow closer to Yahweh.

Sweet blessings to you all!

But Yahweh of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” ~1 Peter 5:10

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.” ~Romans 5:3-4

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” ~Romans 8:18

Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but Yahweh delivereth him out of them all.” ~Psalms 34:19

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” ~2 Corinthians 4:17

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” ~Romans 8:35

But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.” ~ Peter 3:14

Ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” ~Galatians 6:2

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.” ~Philippians 1:29

The Shortage

We are now living through the toilet paper crisis of 2020. The time when the pandemic of the coronavirus has made many panic into buying an abundance of necessities, ultimately…toilet paper.

Yes, this is true. It is no laughing matter. Many wonder, what will we do without toilet paper?

Well, rest assured, we will live through this! For, there are more important shortages then toilet paper.

Now, this, on a very serious note, is important. There is coming a shortage of something much more important.

Right now, we have an abundance of this most important thing. It is most definitely the most important thing we can ever have. And yet, we seem to forget it and put it aside in the panic of other matters.

And yet, this very item can give us more assurance then that last roll of comfort in your bathroom.

If you have not already guessed correctly, it is indeed our Heavenly Father, Yahweh’s Holy Word, the Bible. Someday, there will come a time when there will be a shortage of Bibles. And in that time, we will only have the words in which we have hidden deep in our hearts.

Even when this shortage shall come, we have no need to fear or panic. For, Yahweh has it all under control.

So don’t guard your toilet paper from those who may need its comfort. Instead, focus on what truly matters. Prepare for the most important shortage to come. Memorize and study the Words of Yahweh, so that you can apply them to your life.

This is the only thing that will bring you peace in the midst of panic, assurance when faced with sickness and death, and joy through all the trials that you will face.

Remember what truly matters and don’t worry about toilet paper or anything else. We will live through this and stand strong in Yahweh!

Blessings to you all!

That One Thing

This past summer, my family and I visited our local county fair. My three youngest siblings were very excited to go. But what could you imagine them to be the most excited about?

The rides?

Sure, there were many colorful musical rides from roller coasters to bumper cars. But no, we didn’t go near them.

The food?

Yes, there were delicious smells that filled the air, but we walked past it all.

The animals?

They loved to see and pet the animals, but there was something else…

A place that they remembered us visiting other years and we just HAD to go this year.

Where would a couple of eight to three year old want to go at the fair?

Into a building, and up to a booth. But not just any booth, but the very one that gives out small Bibles every year.

They wanted a new little Bible and were so excited to get a replacement for their tattered one from the year before.

Many people believe that the Bible is too advanced and boring for young children. But it begins from the time they are born to instill in them, the love of Yahweh and the Holy Bible.

There is so much joy in serving Him and children love it!

Who would ever think that a little Bible that they can’t even read yet, would be more exciting then the wild amusements that the fair has to offer?

Sweet N’ Simply So

Each one of us has been blessed in many ways. Our very lives are a blessing. As many of you know, I was called to begin ‘Sweet N’ Simple Blessings.’

What you don’t know… is that once again, I became so excited and dove into it, by making a business to bless others and bring them together…

What I missed, was that it is meant to be a ministry, not a business.

The truth is…

It can be so easy to do what our Heavenly Father has called us to do, by doing it how We think best and not how He wills it. Then, we wonder why it isn’t successful.

And so, by 2020, ‘‘ will be newly transformed into what it is truly meant to be.

Please pray for me and this special ministry that I have been blessed with. I look forward to you all being a part of it.

Sweet Blessings to you!

10 Meaningful Things To Do on Halloween

So, it’s Halloween and your not sure what to do with your day. Or maybe you just want to do something meaningful…

That is why I am going to share a few ideas that you can do. If you have any more ideas, please tell all in the comments.

So, here are 10 things to do on Halloween that are meaningful and Yahweh-Honoring:

1. Host a Bible study. If all else fails, you and Yahweh, in your favorite place, make for an amazing time to grow closer to our Heavenly Father.

2. Pray. Just plain prayer for all who are out trick-or-treating, is a very meaningful way to spend your time.

3. Write letters and make cards. Shine your light on a dark day. Don’t let Satan keep you from sharing the good news of Yahushua!!!!

4. Spend time with your family and friends who don’t celebrate Halloween. If this is a hard one for you, you are welcome to contact me via contact page, or to simply spend time with our Heavenly Father.

5. Sing praises to Yahweh!!! Turn on the music or simply hum, or just sing acapella!!!! Sing unto Yahweh!!!!

6. Go out and hand out pamphlets that tell all of Yahweh’s truth. Shine your light!!!

7. Call or visit the elderly. Bring Yahweh’s truth to them.( Along with maybe some non-evil cookies or such)

8. Hey, gals!!! While your praying, why not knit up some hats and such for those who need them this winter.

9. Remember to imitate Yahushua and dress the normal way He made you to dress…just who you are meant to be.

10. If all else fails, continue this day, as if it were a normal day, except with lots more prayer.

Yahweh bless you and keep you from all harm, on this day…and every day after.

This is a reblog version of last year’s post. It’s just as true as the first.

Beyond The Storm

As the days grow shorter and the weather turns colder, life can seem to grow darker.

Through the first rainy, cold days of Autumn, I was blessed to see past the storm and see a reminder of Yahweh’s promise, a beautiful rainbow. Not even once, but twice.

Once, I heard a story in which a little bird flew up above the rain and stormy clouds. What he found there, was the sun shining bright and cheerfully.

It can be so easy to see the storms, trials, and bad things in life. But it is often hard to remember that the sun is always shining.

Yahweh’s love is greater than anything we are going through. We live for Him, knowing that He has it all under control.

And some day, there will be no more darkness nor sorrow, nor will there be tears of sadness or pain.

…that you are loved and blessed. And if you glance upon a rainbow, thank Yahweh for His beautiful reminder.

Yahweh loves you. Trust in Him. And smile, because He has a beautiful plan for your life.
